Cerro Llao Llao is found within Circuito Chico, located 24 kilometers (15 miles) from the city of Bariloche near the Llao Llao Hotel The ascent to this hill is one of the most popular due to the fact that it does not pose a technical nor physical challenge, and in only an hour we will arrive at the peak where we will enjoy the emblematic landscape of the Llao Llao Peninsula. Ideal for those people who wish to take a short and relaxing hike, it will only take us half a morning or half the afternoon and that is how to combine it with other trips if you wish to do so. This hike begins at the entrance of Llao Llao Municipal Park, in the middle of a well-marked trail. We will travel around the first part, a flat walk introducing us to a centenarian forest of cypresses and coihues, a beautiful meadow and flowers native to Patagonia. Little by little we will gain altitude and we will begin to contemplate Nahuel Huapi Lake and its islands, until arriving at our destination: the peak of the Hill. There, we will take a short break to splendor in the classic panoramic view of Nahuel Huapi Lake, Brazo, Tristeza, Lago Moreno, and the neighboring mountains such as Lopez, Capilla, and Milaqueo. The return will occur on the same trail, ending said hike at the same beginning point and where we will be waiting for our transportation to continue the trip through Circuito Chico. For those hikers with energy to continue walking and exploring, we will also be able to take the hike to Mirador Brazo Tristeza, which will take us approximately an hour round trip, culminating this tour (if you wish), in the well-known Cerveceria Patagonia for those lovers of artisanal beer.
